Can't Buy Their Love

Last night, my brother and I were playing Go Fish with Kendall and Caden and we were having THE BEST time! We were laughing so hard! The cards we were using were bible characters and the name was displayed at the top and there was a very descriptive photo of that character on the card as well. Since Caden could not read their names, he was just describing the photo of the character when it was his turn to ask for a card. The first one he described Noah as a boat full of animals. The second one he described as a "nice lion licking John" for Daniel and the best and my MOST FAVORITE was of Jonah and he described it as "a whale chasing God". We laughed and rolled in the floor! Here is the card he described:

Kids don't need fancy clothes or toys or shopping sprees or expensive trips to be happy. They just need the love, affection and attention that they deserve and not be pawned off on someone else just because that parent has selfish wants. Communicate with your kids about their feelings, they will always be open to you and talk to you about anything if you do that. Some parents just aren't capable of doing that and don't even have the desire to do so, and it's up to the stronger parent to do so. I know that my babies will see in the end who sacrificed for them and who was there for them. The money won't mean a thing then, now will it?!
